Greetings, Ax Readers! It's been a long time since we rock 'n' rolled, but this dog's been at it! Here's the latest news since the last Ax, way back in September:
First, the newest in the Get a G.R.I.P. series, Get a G.R.I.P. on Creativity is hot off the press: https://amzn.to/3LFvDLb. It dropped just yesterday! If you want a boost of creative energy, Amazon will deliver it straight to you with a click or two. Would love your feedback as you use the power of Qi to release more of your creativity. Demystify the mumbo jumbo, and digest the rest.
I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for the wonderful testimonials given by advanced readers–the best yet!
Second, Chris Colucci and I are recording the audio version of the flagship book of the series, Get a G.R.I.P.: Andrew's Ax Guide to Global Readiness®, and that will be dropping this spring. We're having a blast, recording mini podcast-type discussions between the chapters, which we're doing to enchance the audio experience and increase engagement with the 33 leadership/management topics covered in the book. The back-and-forth badinage is exactly the kind I like to listen to, and hopefully you will enjoy it too.
And third, I've started a new project with Dan Nestle, my partner in the Remote Work Companion Podcast (Apple link: https://apple.co/3LFNeTl and on all the major podcast platforms – Spotify, Amazon, Google, I Heart Radio, etc.). We're recording a new companion podcast to the Get a G.R.I.P. on Creativity mentioned above. That one should be ready to drop in late spring/early summer.
So while the blog's been getting a breather, the writer hasn't. Lots of other news on the personal front, along with sticker shock. We just learned that shipping costs have in some cases gone up 10X over pre-pandemic, which is making an upcoming move transform into the John Lennon song, "Starting Over." More on that soon.
Hope everyone's holding it together through the ongoing pandemic, travel restrictions, and other annoyances, As Neil Young continues to sing, on or off Spotify: "Keep on rockin' in the free world!"
